  • Man-in-the-Loop allowing retargeting, aim point selection and
mission abort in two firing modes:
    – Lock-on-Before-Launch (LOBL)
    – Lock-on-After-Launch (LOAL)
  • Uncooled IR seeker allows repeated lock on to potential targets
    without consuming resources

Key Features

  • Weight: 15kg (including tube)
  • Length: 1.3m in tactical canister

SEA CEPTOR (CAMM)

NEXT GENERATION SHIP-BASED ALL WEATHER AIR DEFENSE WEAPON SYSTEM

COMMON ANTI-AIR MODULAR MISSILE

CAMM, the Common Anti-air Modular Missile, is the next generation air defense missile designed for land, sea and air environments. The maritime application of CAMM is known as Sea Ceptor.

Sea Ceptor will protect both the host ship and high-value units in the local area. The system has the capability to intercept and thereby neutralize the full range of current and future threats including combat aircraft and the new generation of supersonic anti-ship missiles. Capable of multiple channels of fire, the system will also counter saturation attacks.

Technology

Sea Ceptor incorporates advanced technologies to provide complete protection against all known and projected air targets. CAMM is currently in full-scale production for the United Kingdom to deliver the Sea Ceptor ship-based air defense system that will equip the Royal Navy Type 23 frigates and future Type 26.

The weapon system can be easily retrofitted into a wide range of platforms, ranging from 50m OPVs to frigates and destroyers. Two main features provide this flexibility;

  1. The use of “soft-launch” weapon technology for a highly scalable and compact launch system that can easily be installed in a number of locations.
  2. Sea Ceptor can be targeted from the ship’s existing surveillance radar sensors and does not require dedicated fire control radars.

Sea Ceptor is integrated to and will operate from British, French, and American vertical launch systems.

Key Features

  • High rate of fire against multiple simultaneous targets
  • Soft vertical launch technology for minimum launch signature and high performance
  • Compact missile allows for multiple weapons fit in limited spaces
  • Compatible with any surveillance sensor for targeting
  • Vertical launch enabling 360° coverage in all launch sectors

ENFORCER

LIGHTWEIGHT, HIGH PRECISION WEAPON WITH STAND-OFF CAPABILITY

New Flexibility For Infantry and Special Forces

Enforcer is a complimentary multipurpose munition to existing shoulder-fired infantry weapon systems. It enables dismounted infantry to engage lightly protected battlefield/urban targets at relevant combat ranges, with high precision and minimal exposure to the operator.

Enforcer provides major advantages for infantry and special forces:

  • Can be carried and operated by a single soldier from behind cover as well as enclosed and confined spaces. Minimal exposure to enemy fire.
  • Designed for use against a wide range of static and moving targets, including concealed snipers. Superior range and effect compared to automatic grenade and rocket launchers.
  • Capability against soft-skinned and lightly armored targets, and Infrastructure. Low collateral damage weapon.

Technology

The disposable, shoulder-launched guided weapon system Enforcer can be used to engage a variety of targets at ranges beyond the capability of currently available infantry weapons, including lightly armored static and moving targets, and threats behind cover.

The Enforcer concept is a new lightweight, disposable shoulder-launched guided munition in the 2 km class. The modular design offers the prospect of a future family of Enforcer munitions.

Key Features

  • Fire-and-forget missile system
  • Range up to 2,000m
  • High precision over full range. Day and night operation
  • Lock-on before launch (LOBL)
  • Capability against lightly armored and soft-skinned targets
  • Effect against targets behind cover through airburst capability
  • Multi-effects warhead
  • Lightweight (missile + launch tube < 9kg)
  • System weight (sight and two munitions) < 20kg

Diamond-Back-Header

DIAMOND BACK WING ASSEMBLY

FLIGHT PROVEN EXTENDED RANGE

Weapon Range Extension

Diamond Back features a unique joined tandem wing design that extends the wings from a compact storage position. The deployed wings provide a diamond shaped platform with excellent maneuverability and glide characteristics.

The Diamond Back wing assembly has successfully demonstrated low-cost range extension technology that can triple the stand-off of air-launched stores providing more flexible mission options.

The unique wing assembly provides stand-off and cross-track maneuverability for a significantly expanded footprint for air-launched stores. The larger footprint not only provides additional survivability for the delivery aircraft but also allows delivery to multiple points from a single release point.

Diamond Back is currently in full rate production for the US Air Force Small Diameter Bomb and has been combat proven in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Technology

The Diamond Back wing assembly has been extensively tested, qualified, and combat proven for the GBU-39/B Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) weapon. Diamond Back has also been successfully demonstrated in flight on the extended range Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) BLU-109 weapon and the Focused Lethality Munition.

The integrated Diamond Back wing assembly is in full rate production for use on the US Air Force Small Diameter Bomb.

Key Features

  • Scalable size to accommodate full weapon load out
  • Longer range and improved maneuverability
  • Deployment mechanism is simple, robust and reliable at any launch condition
  • Provides increased stand-off outside point defensese
  • Increases launch aircraft survivability and tactical flexibility
